The new IMSWARE Inventory APP facilitates and accelerates the physical inventory count of assets with smartphones and handheld scanners. The highlight: Thanks to specially customized workflows, in most cases the scanner is the only thing you need to perform the physical inventory count.
IMSWARE Inventory APP is integrated into the IMSWARE main CAFM system. Here users can create predefined workflows for inventory and inventory related operations. These are transferred to the mobile devices as templates. The workflows are designed largely automatically. What is needed is only that the mobile device is connected to the hand-held scanner, for example, via Bluetooth.
The Scanner works autonomously while scanning Barcodes on spaces to help find proper location, barcodes on assets in the documentation of the maintenance works performed etc. The mobile terminals such as smartphones and tablet PC can stay inside the bag or on the top of a table while working.
Also new assets can be detected easily with IMSWARE Inventory APP. Predefined templates help create new assets on the fly through the recording process and ensure consistent data.
If no handheld scanners are available, the APP helps in this case as well: You can alternatively use the internal camera of smartphone and tablet PC to read barcodes.
